JOHN-PAUL MORRAY

As the CEO of interlude studios, John-Paul (JP) Morray founded Interlude Studios with the dream of building a team that enables culturally-definitive artists to deliver their philosophies to the world. His journey started with DJing fraternity parties, supporting artists, and designing clothing, all leading up to managing artists in his hometown of St. Louis. A socialite with an innate ability to express his creative tendencies through the lens of an executive, JP decided to dive headfirst into the music industry with nothing but a backpack, cheap round-trip tickets from St. Louis to L.A., and a profound love of music and people.

After relocating to L.A., JP officially founded Interlude Studios alongside his longtime friends and fellow visionaries, Jacob Krupp and Cam Nisbet. It was quite the balancing act as JP worked to build the company — managing artists such as singer/rapper MILES and gaining valuable insight working for The Revels Group co-CEO Jamil Davis to grow the career of singer-songwriter Anthony Russo — all while pursuing and earning his BS in Entertainment Business from the L.A. Film School in Hollywood. Interlude’s lasting, close relationships and success in helping their artists break through are a testament to a leadership that truly values longterm artist development — offering clients the strategy, creativity, and consistency needed to move to the next level.
